About Kim

Kim Fairall, RMT has been providing Registered Massage Therapy in Squamish, BC for 11 years. She graduated from the Okanagan Valley College of Massage Therapy in Vernon, BC in 2003. Kim’s massage therapy continuing education has included Cranial Sacral, Manual Lymph Drainage, Visceral, Traditional Thai Medicine, Western Sports Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Aromatherapy, Reiki, Fascia Research and Post-Surgery active Rehabilitation/scar tissue recovery. This is in addition to the internationally acclaimed high level of foundational knowledge she received from being trained locally in BC, Canada. Kim has an inherent knowledge of how to effectively treat patients with a variety of health concerns. She comes from a family of Health Practitioners which enables her to be fluent in the promotion of health and well being.

Having past experience working as a Lifeguard, Swim Coach, Climbing Instructor and Parks & Trails Labourer, she recognizes the injuries that are common to people that work hard. Kim believes that integrating massage therapy as part of your health maintenance prevents injuries and improves work performance.

Kim has taught new Mom’s & Dad’s of Squamish ‘baby massage’ both through the Vancouver Coastal Health and the Healthy Pregnancy Outreach. Massage Therapy is very effective for digestion, proprioception, and early development in babies as young as a few days old. It also initiates a lifetime of appreciating the healing power of touch.

She has provided volunteer Massage Therapy for the Cancer Relay for Life in Squamish and for the Huntington’s Disease Society Retreat in Brakendale BC.  She regularly provides promotional treatments for many charity fundraising events in her community. She is Registered with the College of Massage Therapists of BC, and is a Member of the Massage Therapists Association of BC.  She has also served as the Regional Representative for the MTABC for Squamish.
